Just for your own information, your post view count is now at 770! It is by far the most viewed page on my blog. At the time of the contest ending you had around 550 views, nearly double the competition.

I think you found your calling!

Hugs & Congrats,

The Creative Inner Eye

August 24th, 2013

The Creative Inner Eye

You are an artist, if you read this, because you understand what the "inner eye" means. You have put the inner eye 's ability to work. You have seen how the inner eye enlivens your whole being if you let it loose out of it 's trap. That 's the hard thing. Once it goes off on its own, like a liberated puppy, it sniffs every flower around. The inner eye is hard to control. The nice thing that happens is when it hooks onto a subject, it gets meaningful for your whole life, especially since the inner eye obliges you to spend so much time on the subject that it overtakes your life. Here you are, months later, and barely able to awaken and tear away onto other pressing issues, and maybe another subject to devote the inner eye to! Meanwhile, driven by a power within that you can hardly grasp, you produced a body of work, a new reality really, a unique treasure you reveal to others, exhibit, that passes by so swiftly you try to understand it yourself! This creative process touches the same wavelength in fans on websites and galleries, and hopefully the practical results of the inner eye experience thrill your public to the point that they consider your works a revelation, and invest in them.
That 's what the inner eye blog is about: your story and hopes, and mine. What happens to you when the inner eye is let loose. It 's meant for everyone with a creative inner eye, so we can all surf on other' s waves, just for a little moment catch a ride on another 's creative surfboard.
Tell me if you want this blog, if you want to participate in discovering your creative process, and keep it up. If so, I 'll be around.

Painting Flowers

Painting Flowers

Flowers, and why we paint them.
Flowers were my source of discovery as a child, finding them by surprise in wheat fields, in farmers gardens, on a dry mountain hill, alongside a brook. I imprinted their beauty in my mind. Now, I paint them, never to forget.
What prompted you to devote so much time and effort to the world of flowers?
