Description
This watercolor portrait sketch shows a young woman with frizzy hair in our group, listening to the conversation taking place. Finding her of remarkable appearance, I took out my watercolors to sketch her in the half-dark, colors in the pans barely distinguishable, and I relied on my knowledge of the palette to mix paints. It was a challenge and I was shaking from intense happiness to capture such a beautiful and peaceful appearance.
