Description
This foreshortening covers the width of the upright paper in a triangular composition. The foot closest to our viewpoint takes us into the drawing towards the head which is covered with an arm. The right arm reaches out towards the opposite edge divides the paper in half and becomes the top edge of the triangle, while the knee of the right leg indicates the edge of the bottom angle toward the head and the left foot. The right foot and the buttocks in strong shadows are the central points in the drawing
